About

Hi! My name is Malachy. I am a young man from Manchester. I have lived in and around Manchester for most of my life and I have also been lucky enough to travel a lot. After university, I went travelling through China and Vietnam and this is where I fell in love with great food.

Ever since, I have tried to cook the best food and also try as many different foods as I can find. My jobs, holidays and even friends and family have led me to loads of different foods and restaurants. This is why I now have a real love of good food. The kind of food that makes you excited to eat it or even just the food that makes you feel better on a bad day. This is what eventually drove me to start this blog.

About the Blog

This isn’t a review website. I don’t want to sit and critique others for not being able to cook to a standard that I clearly couldn’t do myself. No, this blog is about the food that I love and that inspires me. Great food is hard to come by and nothing annoys me more than a bad meal, so I’m signposting you to the good ones.

I can’t claim to be a writer by any stretch of the imagination but thankfully they’ll let any old muppet have a blog so I’m having a stab at it. What I do have is a good knowledge of food and the ability to talk about it. So if you like it, hate it or want to know more about it, let me know. I’d love to know what you think.
